Returns & Exchanges
If you are not satisfied with your goods for any reason, please return them to us at Carita House, Stapeley, Nantwich, Cheshire CW5 7LJ and we will exchange them, credit your Carita House Account or refund you.
Please enclose a copy of your original invoice if possible. Please download and print the RETURNS FORM pdf here.
If you are unable to print it please advise your full name and postal address and let us know which items you are returning and why and also what items you would like in exchange. We will then contact you if we need any further information.
Please state clearly why you are returning the parcel and whether you require exchange goods or a refund or a credit.
Please note, however that when sending a return, the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us. We strongly recommend therefore that you send it registered post. Your statutory rights are not affected by these statements.
We process returns as soon as they arrive, except during extremely busy periods when there may be a short delay. Please note that credit card refunds can only be given to the original payer.
Payment
Please note that we are “cash with order” and your credit card will be charged at the point of order. Any goods that are not in stock will be sent to you within 7-10 days where possible. You reserve the right to cancel any goods that are not in stock once you have received your invoice.
Privacy Policy
Carita House does NOT disclose your information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site but only to keep track of your shopping once you have selected an item.
Prices
Prices are valid until 31st December 2011.
All prices are subject to change without prior notice and are subject to the ruling rate of VAT on Adult sizes.
Our prices increased as of Feb 7th 2010. This was due to increased supplier costs and the new rate of VAT.

Guarantee
Carita House’s total liability for any claim howsoever arising shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied by Carita House to the customer. Carita House shall not be liable for any consequential customer loss whether this arises from a breach of duty in contract or in any other way. Carita House cannot accept any liability for a failure to comply with specific instructions stated in the catalogue. Customers' statutory rights are not affected by this statement.
Every care has been taken to describe and portray items accurately using current technology, but slight variations in actual goods may occur.
Stock Availability
We are sorry but we cannot ensure permanent availability of all items, although we try our hardest! Some goods sell much better than even we predict and although we try to always supply within 7-10 days sometimes it may be slightly longer. If something is out of stock, we'll always give you the best information we can on anticipated delivery dates.
If any item is out of stock we will indicate this on your invoice.

Delivery
All items in stock will usually be dispatched by Royal Mail to UK addresses the next working day after we receive your order.
- First Class Post is
£1.00 extra per item and will ensure that your item is prioritised in our
system and should reach you within 2-3 working days.
- Second Class Post is included in the retail prices and your order should arrive within 4–5 working days.
- Next Day Delivery
If you require your order urgently we can send it by next day delivery to all UK addresses providing we receive your order before 1pm UK time.
Delivery will be made next day between 9am and 5.30pm - if you require a more specific time such as before 9am or before Noon please specify this - and please note this will cost extra in addition to the regular prices below, which will be charged to your account.
Orders placed after 1pm on Thursday or on a Friday will not be sent until the following Monday as there is no next day delivery available for Saturday or Sunday.

If you require your order urgently we can send it via next day delivery to all UK addresses (working weekdays only) which will cost extra as follows:

If something is not in stock, we will send it out first class post (our charge!) as soon as we receive it.
Overseas Orders
We can accept orders from most overseas addresses. We welcome orders from all BFPO and worldwide addresses, however we can only calculate your postage once we have your order in our packing department so please accept that an extra charge will be added to your bill according to the weight of your parcel. If you need to know the postage costs in advance of your order being sent please put this on your order form and we will advise you for your acceptance of the charges.
Foreign Order Internet prices will not take into account any VAT reductions you may be entitled to. These will be taken off at Carita House and a copy of your ex VAT invoice will be dispatched with your goods.
Local import duties may be payable on receipt.

Care and Washing Instructions
Velvet / Cotton / Silkskin / Supplex / Crepe
Machine wash garment separately at 30 degrees, short spin and hang to dry immediately. Do not leave garments bundled whilst wet at any time. Do not use fabric conditioner or strong washing powders as this can cause colour loss.
Metallic / Glitzy Designs
Hand wash inside out in cold tap water. Do not use fabric conditioner or strong washing powders as this can cause colour loss. Do not dry near strong heat. Do not tumble dry or iron.
